Boating for beginners
Are bigger boats better than little boats? What is the best size boat for a beginner? Is it a good idea to buy a big boat or the biggest boat you can afford? Maybe not. In this video I discuss some of the advantages smaller boats for newer boaters and how big boats can be much more costly to maintain than a small boat. If you are a beginner, boat shopping can be challenging. If you want all the features, options and accessories, those things can often mean more headaches as they wear out, fail or break. Tiny boats are much simpler to take care of, winterize and maintain when compared to larger boats. If you’re doing a boat size comparison, consider the costs that might be associated with a larger boat.
