Happy Holidays from SAIL

Sail News

The SAIL e-newsletter is off for the remainder of the year, but before we go, we wanted to wish you and yours the very best from all of us at SAIL. This year has been full of ups and downs, and we appreciate that you’ve been with us for all of them. In the office, we always say that SAIL has one of the smartest, most responsive readerships of any magazine. Whether you’re offering an alternative recommendation for our Ask SAIL queries or pointing out a line overboard in our cover shot, the knowledge and engagement in this community is incredible. Meeting so many of you on the docks and on the water in 2021 has been an enormous privilege.

When we return in 2022, the UnderSAIL e-newsletter is going to look a little different. The SAIL team has been hard at work reimagining it with a fresh look and more of the content you love. We appreciate that sometimes digital is more convenient than print, and for breaking news you can’t beat the immediacy of an online update. (But don’t worry, that doesn’t mean the print magazine is going anywhere!) Among the upgrades is an all-new digital exclusive Notice to Mariners column in which the editors give their own behind the scenes perspectives on nautical current events and happenings. Plus, there will be new podcasts, quizzes, trivia and more.

We’re so excited for everything planned for 2022. We couldn’t make it happen without the best community a magazine could wish for, so here’s to you. Have a wonderful holiday season and a Happy New Year.
