Luxury meets functionality in Garmin’s new MARQ Captain watch. Advanced sailing-specific features include GPS technology to help pinpoint your starts on the racecourse, a tack-assist function for playing the shifts and an MOB button. Other sensors include a compass, gyroscope, thermometer, accelerometer, altimeter and a heart-rate monitor, while a variety “smart” features (made possible via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity) include everything from an anchor alarm to boat-data streaming, autopilot control and the ability to send texts or an SOS. Don’t don’t be fooled by all that functionality, though. The watch is also darn good looking, making it more than suitable for wearing onshore at even the poshest of yacht clubs with its French-made jacquard-weave strap and nautical detailing. Who says you can’t have it all? $1,850. Garmin, garmin.com
